Brooklyn Park is a city in Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States. Located on the west bank of the Mississippi River, Brooklyn Park is the sixth largest city in Minnesota. As of the 2020 census, Brooklyn Park had a population of 79,899, making it the state's fourth largest city.

History

Brooklyn Park was originally settled in 1852 and was incorporated as a village in 1954. The city developed rapidly starting in the 1950s as suburban development spread outward from Minneapolis.
