Roseville is a city located in southeastern Michigan in Macomb County. Roseville was first settled in the 1830s and incorporated as a village in 1869 before becoming a city in 1955.

History

Roseville has a rich history dating back to the early 19th century when the first land patents were granted to settlers. In 1818, the first land patent was granted to John Stockton and his family. The area grew slowly over the next few decades with more settlers arriving. In 1843, Roseville became an incorporated village under the name of Erin Township. The village was renamed to Roseville in 1894.
