Saint George is a city located in the southwestern part of Utah, United States. With a population of around 90,000 residents, it is the county seat of Washington County. Saint George is known for its warm climate and natural beauty, making it a popular retirement and tourism destination.

History

Saint George was founded in 1861 by Mormon settlers sent by Brigham Young. The settlers were tasked with growing cotton and other semi-tropical crops. The city was named after George A.
