Corvallis is a city in central western Oregon, United States. It is the county seat of Benton County and the principal city of the Corvallis, Oregon Metropolitan Statistical Area, which encompasses all of Benton County. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 61,308, making it the largest city in the county and the 15th-largest city in Oregon. There were 24,561 housing units at an average density of 1,356.4 per square mile (523.5/km2). The city's racial makeup was 83.5% White, 1.4% African American, 0.8% Native American, 6.0% Asian, 0.3% Pacific Islander, 4.5% from other races, and 3.5% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino people of any race were 10.2% of the population.
