Oklahoma, located in the South Central region of the United States, is known as the Sooner State. It was the 46th state admitted to the Union in 1907. History

Geography

Oklahoma is situated in the Great Plains and has a diverse landscape ranging from prairie grasslands, hills and canyons in the west, to dense forests and the Ouachita Mountains in the east.
