Woodridge is a village located primarily in DuPage County, with portions in Will and Cook counties in the U.S. state of Illinois. The population of Woodridge was 32,971 at the 2010 census.

History

Woodridge was incorporated on August 24, 1959. The first mayor of Woodridge was Leo S. Michuda. Prior to incorporation, Woodridge existed as the neighborhoods of East View Park, West View Park, Sipleyville, Rubio Woods and Tipps Village. Population

According to the 2020 census, the population of Woodridge is 34,624. Over the past 10 years, the population has grown by 7.2%. The racial makeup of the village is 66.3% White, 4.9% African American, 17.7% Asian, 0.1% Native American, 8.3% from other races, and 2.7% from two or more races. 19.5% of the population is Hispanic or Latino.
