Nunda is a village located in McHenry County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2020 census, the village had a population of 2,509 residents. Nunda was first settled in 1835 and was officially incorporated in 1924. The village gets its name from a Native American word meaning "a pleasant place."

The median age was 44.8 years old. 24.5% of the population was under the age of 18 while 16.3% was aged 65 or older. 50.2% of the population was female.
