Bremen is located at 41°40′16′′N 87°40′4′′W. According to the 2010 census, the village has a total area of 3.15 square miles, all land. It is located in southern Cook County, approximately 6 miles west of the Indiana state line.

As of the 2010 census, there were 4,576 people and 1,701 households residing in the village. The racial makeup of the village was 94% White, 2.5% African American, 0.3% Native American, 0.9% Asian, 0.7% from other races, and 1.7% from two or more races.
