San Angelo is a city located in west-central Texas. With a population of around 100,000 people, it is the county seat of Tom Green County and a regional center for numerous industries and businesses.

According to the latest census data, San Angelo has a population of 101,104 people as of 2021. It is the 22nd largest city in Texas. The city has seen steady population growth over the past several decades, increasing over 20% since the 2000 census.

The racial makeup of San Angelo is 70.1% White, 3.9% Black or African American, 1.1% Native American, 1.5% Asian, 0% Pacific Islander, 19.4% from other races, and 3.9% from two or more races. 54.3% of the population is Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 39,183 households in the city, with an average household size of 2.48 people. The median age is 33.8 years old. 22.5% of the population is under age 18, while 13.1% is aged 65 or older.
