Concord is a city located in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. As of the 2020 census, the population of Concord was 96,051, making it the ninth largest city in North Carolina.

Concord has a council-manager form of government. The city council consists of the mayor and six council members who are each elected for four year terms. The current mayor of Concord is Bill Dusch.
