Background: Republican Jobs clients are seeking a passionate and motivated Rancho Cucamonga, California Conservative Field Organizer to join our team. As a Field Organizer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing outreach efforts to help get out the vote during political campaigns. This will involve going door-to-door, organizing campaign rallies and canvasses, and targeting swing voters and other targeted groups to increase election turnout. We are looking for a year-round Coordinated Campaign designed to help elect candidates all across the state and build a volunteer base for the 2024 election cycle. The Field Organizer will be directly supervised in order to maximize voter turnout in the district.
Roles/Duties:
- Go door-to-door to mobilize voters and persuade swing voters to support the campaign
- Organize and execute campaign rallies, canvasses, and door-to-door canvassing efforts
- Develop and implement targeted outreach strategies to reach specific groups of voters
- Work with volunteers and other campaign staff to achieve campaign goals
- Utilize social networks to increase awareness and engagement with the campaign
- Analyze polls and data to make informed decisions about campaign strategies
- Discriminate information to ensure campaign messaging is tailored to specific audiences
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for phone banking, voter registration and canvassing events.
- Must be able to hit metric goals on a weekly and quarterly basis and work well under pressure.
- Build up a strong volunteer base and understanding of the area for Get Out the Vote (GOTV)
- Develop and maintain a strong and trusting relationship with the county officials, candidates, volunteers, and partner organizations.
- Provide daily/weekly reports of voter contact and volunteer recruitment data to the Vice Chair.
- Work with Communications Director, Data Director, and other staff, committee chairs, team leads as appropriate to implement organizational goals across the county.
- Plan and recruit for weekly volunteer events.
- Work with other candidates, campaign staff, county parties and organizations across the North Texas area to implement a successful Coordinated Campaign.
Job Requirements:
- Prior experience working on political campaigns or in community organizing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Passionate about increasing election turnout and making a difference in their community
- Prior organizing experience preferred (paid, volunteer, or internship)
- A background in VoteBuilder and MiniVan.
- Full availability for the last two months before the Election is required.
- Must be a strong trainer.
- Ability to work long and unusual hours (weekends and some nights, especially leading up to the election).
- Detail oriented and comfortable to work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
- Access to a reliable vehicle. Travel is required.
- Positive attitude and a commitment and passion to the cause of electing Democrats all across the county.
Compensation: Salary: $20 per hour
