Chino Hills is a city located in the southwestern corner of San Bernardino County, California. With a population of 81,632 as of the 2020 census, Chino Hills is a fast-growing suburban community at the edge of the Greater Los Angeles metro area.
History
The land that is now Chino Hills was inhabited for thousands of years by the Tongva people. Spanish missionaries and Mexican ranchers later moved into the area in the early 19th century. The city of Chino Hills was incorporated in 1991 from portions of unincorporated San Bernardino County lands.

As of the 2020 census, Chino Hills had a population of 81,632. The racial makeup of Chino Hills was 38.8% Asian, 34.6% White, 9.5% African American, 12.6% from other races, and 4.4% from two or more races. Hispanics or Latinos of any race made up 24.4% of the population.
There were 24,196 households and the average household size was 3.37. The median age was 39.7 years old. The gender makeup was 49.5% male and 50.5% female.
